Well, the technology is changing. It was inaccurate before. Yes, the world has always had? a changing climate. In the last time the CO2 level was really high, all of the animals had a long(er) time to evolve. How do you evolve in 50 years when last time you had like a 100,000 years to evolve? There is a time? lapse film on youtube of the northern pole which shows the pole shrinking in the summer and expanding in the winter (as is the norm) over many years. it does not show it getting smaller year on year. the shape changes but the mass stays relatively the same....

I have an Olds 350 rocket that wants to stall when I put it in drive. When it's in neutral or in? park, it runs fine.? When i'm at a stand still in traffic for a few minutes it idles extremely low that I feel like it wants to stall but it doesn't, it just sputters. It feels like maybe it's the carb, someone said maybe it's the vacuum, then i heard maybe the pcv valve, etc. I just don't know, it drives fine otherwise, but i feel like it has lost power, like something is holdin' it back. I have a 307 Olds in my 1989 Chevy caprice wagon came like that from GM. Any difference in the valve train of a 307 and a Olds 350? rocket? I have roller lifters in my 307, not sure on the roller cam. She just turned over to 234,000 runs great doesn't not burn oil but got that tick noise on the driver side. Had one set of rockers already replaced the tap went away for about a month then came back. I got to keep it going til I get my 350 engine for it.

Just to let you know I built one just like that aftermarket forged pistons off the shelf heads preformer intake noticable cam I was not impressed myself .still works well today someone else has? my 72 cutlass with that original engine I rebuilt in it . They put headers on it and let me drive it I noticed a little bit mor guts with that. obviously stock heads have some majorflow issues.

I don't know that it was as quiet as, say, a Lexus. Remember that Nissan's V6, while nice and quick for a 6, is a little older? and tends to be raspy. I've noticed that in the G, too. But really, it was beautiful car. Just a few things that made me feel that I could only be happy in a G at that time of my life (I was 38 then, but just turned 40, so obviously I was just a young and wild kid back then.. lol) I have a feeling that if I hadn't driven the G as a loaner, I wouldn't have left the M.

so aside from the inability to get comfy in the seats, which I think are very comfortable by the way but its subjective, did you find the car? to be quiet when not in sport mode? I must have forgotten to adjust the seat because I felt like I was riding too high and the car didnt seem to be too quiet. I guess the sound cancellation speakers werent working or something. otherwise, in malbec black with java, I think that car is something else.

loaner until my M37 was ready to pick up on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I had a BLAST in the G37. It was louder, yes, but also handled better and was quicker. I took delivery of my M37 that Tuesday, and it felt larger, slower, and, oddly, I couldn't get comfortable in the seats. By Friday, I'd had it. I drove it back to the Infiniti dealership and, for the tidy sum of $6k in depreciation, traded in my M37 lease for a lease on a G37. That was really NOT the high? point in my financial life.. lol

Well, I respect your opinion. My thoughts are simply that, having test driven both and settled on a G37x, I really don't see how the IS is more luxurious, and though it may be quieter, that's not always what I'm looking for in a sports sedan (granted, if I wanted whisper quiet, I'd? opt for a Lexus LS over an M37.) Who knows. Different opinions are what makes the car world go 'round :)

I'm all for putting an aluminum SBC into a BMW, but there's no way? this car makes that kind of power. My guess is 500hp tops, more likely 400. By the looks of it, it's a 90's all iron Vortec 350 with different fuel rails and a centrifugal supercharger.

Cont.. That cam will never support 870hp NA. And then to get only 1001HP on boost? What are you running, like 2.5psi boost? Sorry your math doesn't add up. For 870HP NA on a 410, you'd need 14:1 compression and a huge .700" lift cam with 265* @.050" duration, two things boost? would not care for. Show a close up of the World or Little M block you used as no stock 4 bolt Chevy will hold your 870HP.

No way to bore a 350 out enough to get a 410. Even with? a crazy +.060", 4.060" bore and a 3.875" stroker crank with a ton of clearancing, you're not even close to a 410cu in. A 4' crank won't work. This is a great build, but no way it's even close to 600HP. My 434sbc is 640HP NA and makes this sound like a kitten.

BMW engines are great, but this car didn't start life as an M3. I says? in the video that it's originally a normal 2.5 I coupe. And the power that Chevy small block can make cannot even be dreamt of by the original 6 in line engine. Don't know where your sources come from, but chevrolet small block engines are not very heavy, specially if they're the later alluminium blocks which is about as light as the original iron BMW block.

Plastic is some of the strongest stuff around, look at formula 1 cars, they use plastic tanks. Its so there cant be a spark inside the gas tank and cause an explosion, these helicopters are built great? and fly great.

this is obviously the AS350, not the 355. 355 is Multi engine. the cowling on this one is narrow, indicating it's a 350, also the startup time on the 355 is? much longer (taking into consideration the fact that you need to start 2 engines). And believe me, I have flown a Bell 206 (as a passenger) and I have about 70 hrs in a 355.... the 355, however unstable during t/o and ldg, is in my opinion one of the best light 'copters ever built!

You have to remember that Robinson is a pricepoint helicopter company, the mechanics, safety, aesthetics, and comfort of a Robinson? do not compare in any way to those of a Eurocopter, Bell, Agusta, or MD. In other words, if I had the money, I'd never buy a Robinson, but if I needed a helicopter and couldn't afford anything else, I'd buy a Robinson. Also keep in mind that 90% of all Robinsons in service are used in training pilots.

most of the time? i do it the air vents happen to suck jet fuel fumes in side the helicopter and to make sure every thing sounds good out side and i also get a good look if there is any airtraffic in the area etc. i work for southwest medevac and we fly patients so i have 3 lives in my hands so just to check and go in my own steps to try to stay safe

The ride is very smooth. You don't have to take my word for it, just test drive one. Car payments... well depends how much the costs at the end. I added the clear bra to car so that bumped up the price. I traded in a 04 Lincoln Navigator so I haggled on that. Depending on the specials at the dealer and how much you put down. The interior is pretty nice actually. I forgot to do a interior car review. I will do it soon plus all the upgrades I added to the car. =] The Lexus IS 350 AWD is 305hp which is pretty fun. As much as STi and Mustang V6... I just liked what the Lexus IS350 had to offer with orange gauges when you shift up and mirrors bending down you when you reverse automatically. Clearless bra to protect paint. The Audi was slower and that 2.0 T wasn't that much fun when I? was driving it.

Haha, I really like your X-factor response. I wanted a car with LED lights and at the time it was only Audi and Lexus. I have heard Audi is kind of expensive to maintain. If you go to bmw,mb,audi website to build your car not many options come standard. I was going to get A5 S-Line but because of the dealer going bankrupt and I would have to get the PRESTIGE package to match up with IS. F-Sport upgrades is fun. Can't? go wrong personalizing your new 2011 car right off the lot. =]

I know it comes down to your personal preference. I still don't understand why someone's preference would be to buy a Lexus instead of BMW/Audi/MB. Lexus cars aren't particularly pretty. They're? not the? fastest. They're not the most spacious. They don't have the best interior. They don't necessarily have lowest price tag. Not outstandingly more economical than others. They're best at none of the categories. There must be some kinda X-factor that makes your spine tingle, but there just isn't one

not to sound stupid or anything, but doesnt that bounce actually put extra uneccesary strain to your ligaments in the knees? i remember the part between my glute and hamstring, on left leg, got really sore and i started to hurt in the begining, then i learnt? i actully "bounced" in the end, when i stopped doing that, my muscle stopped hurting and now my squat are actually of the roof :) (legit question)

When doing an auto in an Astar, as the rear portion of the skids touch the ground, you always maintain slight aft cyclic (being cognizant to protect the tail). Unlike say a Robinson R-22 or 44, in the Astar,? you should NEVER "level out" the helo at the bottom of your flair. Autos on grass are perfectly fine, just keep slight aft cyclic. Also, try to slow your forward airspeed down before you tough the ground always helps too.

From the comments to this video, I? think the general population fails to realize how well helicopters "glide", autorotate when the engine quits. The auto gyro is in a constant state of autorotation... and God Himself invented autorotation with the Maple seed... (aka. helicopter seeds). So, I don't understand why non helicopter flyers don't believe how well this maneuver works. You transfer potential energy (gravity) into kinetic energy stored in blades, use at bottom to cushion.
