The heaphones outputs of the iPad 2 SUCKS ( even after? adjusting input and output or playing around with different impedance .... )!!!! There is a mega hiss even if you use amplink? or iRig. All the guitars apps ( stomp box , modeling amps etc etc etc ) are nothing more than toys nothing serious to play live !!!!!

Neat! But? i cant seem to find AmpKit for iPad in App store. Are you using the iPhone version in x2 size? Or is it only available in some countries perhaps?

actually, when you hook it up like that you don't need any batteries in it! Thanks to the docking station the audio is perfectly separated and it doesn't need to amplify? the outgoing signal :-)
