Its not designed for videography. In my opinion? the 7d is the minimum type of DSLR to use for continuous high res shooting.

Guys, I noticed that I can take a picture on t3i while recording movie only when digital zoom is off. But when the digital zoom is on, I`m not able to take a photo when I press the shutter button. Is this only on my t3i or on all of them? The camera manual does`t detail this out specifically and? simply says that 'the still picture can be taken while shooting a movie by pressing the shutter button completely'. Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi I have this same camera, but im having problems when? I record video. It begins to record and then after a couple seconds a message pops up and says "recording stopped automatically" Do you know why this happens? also when you record video how can you focus without pressing the shutter button?

I bought a T3i and its an awesome camera..But I dont know if Im the only one thinking this but i am not impressed with this camera to shoot video. I would rather shoot with my AG DVX100B but ofcourse Ill need the HMC150 for HD. I don't know..I played with the T3i today a bit during the day and shot with an ISO of 100. It still looked all over exposed and too bright. I turned on my Canon M500? and it was just easier and in HD. Video camcorders is the way to go for me anyways.

I know. It's as if it has moods. It's ok for occasional shooting though. Even on family outings where? you still have a fair amount of video happening, it doesn't clunk out. When you want to record something more lengthy, like during a bird show, say, the trouble starts. The A65 looks very good except for the bad low light performance. I'm actually quite disappointed with the noisy results I'm seeing reported. Check out dxomark and dpreview and such. Not good for low light.

The Sony A33/55 have overheating issues. If you film for about 10 minutes on and off even it over heats? and takes forever to cool down. The A65 looks fantastic though!
