Sadly many people do lack a basic knowledge about available data stream qualtities and quantities. Compression has its limits! A Iphone is designed as a toy, not as a surveilance? monitor. Iphones are far to slow to be of use for surveilance video, not even Iphnoe killers (Android) can do that!

It actually records the video as screenshots. It doesn't have a preference that I can see that lets you modify the duration,? but it does allow you to change the amount of space used for the recorded events. I would imagine if you just push it up to the max, there would be no shortage of recorded events. Thanks for watching!
