i thought duke nukem advance was pretty good. played smooth, graphics where good. could've been better, with better/more one liners, better level design, and should've been longer. the game was too short. but all in all, i thought it was good. way better than the? first doom on advance. 100 times better than dark arena, even better than the first ecks vs sever. i just need ice nine and doom II

growing up playing the original duke nukem 3d, the high resolution pack kills the nostagia. it looks good, but the original is just great as it is, and even better for classic heads like me. just like doomsday engine for doom, although i never played the doomsday engine. and? i never will. the duke high resolution pack killed it for me. i love my old fpshooters pixelated..

I feel things really started going south when fear 2 came out. the story and the alone feeling just weren't really? there. plus no scares. I've played through the first and expansions. although the expansions were somewhat mediocre they did have some very chilling moments. Now I feel thats just been thrown away. :C

Sad things to point out, I got the retail PC version which requires Steam, which means I can't sell it. Unfortunately, the PC online community is dead and has been since release. I really wish I could trade it in for a console version of this game, but I can't. They need to add dedicated servers to? the PC version and stop being so cheap. They didn't even put a manual in with the game. Also, I didn't find any gun that turns people into skeletons in this installment.

I've played through it three times and I remember very little other than Alma and her confusing relationship with Fettel and Point Man. If a story is as forgettable as that, I don't consider? it that good or important to the gameplay. As for "video game standards", that is debatable. Perhaps my standards of a good game story differ from yours :)

you could try Xduke or also known as duke3d_w32. it is a direct port of the MS-DOS exe, it only use vanilla features (so you don't have to use DOSbox or a win95-2000 machine to play classic) however fullscreen sometimes goes trippy (as if your on acid or? LSD)

I couldn't believe that was you doing Duke's voice at first. That was uncanny. My favorite copy of this? game was actually the Nintendo 64 version. They just did enough to it that it seemed new and the controls made it fun. I do own it on PC, 360, etc etc though. Love this damn game. So freaking classic.

i tried it, but it wasn't fluent enough at any setting. i ended up? using the mouse and keyboard. but there may be factors involved like how my controller is mapped to my computer. i use xpadder, and it's rather questionable at times. but i think the game was made for mouse and keyboard so idk.

This looks absolutely amazing. I've seen it in stores and it always looked interesting to me. Thank you 100x for this review. I think you've convinced me to get it since I LOVE dark/different settings. I do have a couple questions if you wouldn't mind answering: Should I get the first? one before playing this one (I really like seeing a characters story and whatnot)? I got Alice Returns Last November and I had no idea that the very first game came with it until now. But? I don't know where to find the code or where to submit it at to play American McGee's Alice??? 1 last thing. You shouldn't reload after every shot. Count the bullets in your clip and try to only reload when it's empty. You guys for messed up because you had to reload into half empty clips making you reload? more often. You even had a clip with just 2 bullets in it. Good show btw. i thought jazz jack rabbit 1 was fun but i couldn't get into the controls but then again maybe i just need to give it a chance, jazz jacrabbit 2? was an amazing fast pased action game that i couldn't stop playing until i saw devens 2nd for die AMAZING, jazz jackrabbit 3 is only available as a tech demo, it looks good the plot i found online was good and aside from a few levle design and lack of enemies making the games action seem slow and lack luster was a good game.
