We would have loved to know about battery life. This phone is supposed to have? a 2000mah battery. Based on how many hours the Galaxy Nexus gets on it's 2100mah extended battery (which isn't much better), don't expect the HTC EVO 4g LTE to last any longer. In? my opinion, all android phones should have a battery no smaller than 2500mah and ideally one as big (yet thin) as the Razr Maxx at 3300mah which is still unmatched.

6:55 I'm about to get my first smart phone. As I understand it, having a great phone on a slow network becomes really evident when streaming videos when they have to buffer. Otherwise some webpages will take 5-10 seconds more to load. Music streaming is not really affected though. So it comes down to having to choose between a slow carrier with unlimited data (Sprint) or a fast carrier with limited data (Verizon/At&t). If I chose Sprint, I'd probably get the cheapest, near? free phone they had.

I ordered my HTC Evo Lte through yall and Wirefly has yet to even get phones in. Best Buy and RadioShack have already received phones and sent out pre orders. Contacting Wireflys customer service is very frustrating, the sells rep barely speak English and never have any information. What's? the hold up? I don't think I will ever order anything from Wirefly again, I understand why yall sell phones at a discount. If I would have only know how frustrating all of this was going to be.

In most respects, the two phones are very similar. As in, they'll both get the job done. But there are some key? differences to consider. For example: screen size, screen resolution, form factor, etc. I know its for a different phone, but I'd take a look at the Galaxy Nexus vs. iPhone 4S article on PhoneBuff (can't link here so just use the search function on the site) to get a better idea.

If you feel as if the two phones are tied in all other respects, with data speeds being the tiebreaker, I'd go with the Galaxy S2 because worse case scenario you get the same 3G speeds as the iPhone.? Best case, you get to tap onto Sprint's WiMax network.

Tough call. I'm assuming you're on Sprint, so I'd take a look at the LTE Galaxy Nexus, EVO LTE, and LG Viper LTE in addition to the iPhone 4S and Epic Touch. I don't think you? could go wrong with any of them, but it really depends on what you're looking for.

Thank you. This is some info that I can use. I don't do gaming but, I do use promo videos. I understand the screen is better on the Epic but, it is a little smaller. I really hate to text on my Blackberry but, texting on a screen seems very difficult. I'm glad you mentioned that the Evo is easy to text on although, I plan on using the Speak to Text option more often than not. However,? I thought the Swype feature was only on the Epic. Is it also on the Evo?

the epic is way better because of my preferances. i love the full, five row qwerty keyboard, super amoled screen, service, design, and evrything about it. i think they r both amazing phones tho. i play on my friends evo all the time to compare. i like them both, but if u? like physical keyboards and samsungs, or a better looking screen, go with the epic. 4g is AMAZING either way tho.

the epic is way better...there are many things missing with the Evo that the Epic has. Number 1 you don't have to use the physical keyboard, but it's nice to have especially for some games. The other thing is that Epic is no thicker for having it. But the main thing you'll miss is Super? AMOLED Screen and the SGX540 GPU that does 3x the speed of graphics. the is the way to go

I've always had phones with a keyboard, but the Evo is superb without it. Turning the phone to its side and typing on the screen is just as fast and accurate as having a full qwerty? and the auto correction makes things fluid. You don't have to worry about making mistakes; 99% of the time it chooses the correct words for you even with a thousand errors. Sometimes I use Swype. I haven't compared the screens, but it seems that the screen may be the only edge that the Epic has over the Evo.

@ultraret Initially, I thought it was a plastic, but there is a thin layer of glass which protects the Super AMOLED screen. (That part is plastic.) The glass layer is made by Corning and called Gorilla Glass. Thanks to @miamijuan from Twitter for? the correction.

Can't Say I disagree... In fact, I completely agree... Good call... Just remember that when you do interact with people, it's important not to pass judgement, or judge by covers... This is important, because you may accuse/categorize an athletic/outdoorsy person of being anti social, or an indoor hermit... Still very cool that a? phone can do this kinda stuff, and the vast number of things this/my phone does helps me to function with my job, AND still be "away" for periods of time...

Its called REAL LIFE. the trees blow in the wind like real trees, the sun warms my skin like? a real sun, and you can actually converse with people just like they are real people, ... and it doesn't cost a dime.

@HIFONICSM3 @HIFONICSM3 I would recommend the Motorola Photon over the EVO 4G any day. i have both phones. I love my Rooted EVO 4G but it doesnt come close to the Photon. the Photon? runs a lot smoother, has a lovely 1Ghz Dual core processor, Invidia Tegra 2... so yeah everything looks and feels amazing on this phone.
