Don't buy these headsets cause they don't fit every headsize. I got them on my head right now and if I shake my head the whole headset moves. Furthermore, they do not have built in re-chargable batteries so you will have to buy your own ones. As far as the sound goes? it's good. If you're going to plug it into a laptop for example without TOSLINK output you will have to buy Audio Advantage Micro 2 to convert usb to TOSLINK, it costs 24.95 dollars. You'd be better off buying from another company.

I'm just wondering, if i plug my PS3 into the Left and Right audio slots and? my XBOX 360 into the optical input , would it still work because if it doesn't work that is going to be really annoyed. No. I've used Astros, Steel Series, Tritton, and most Beaches an I've got to say this headset has the best best audio quality of the console bunch. Sure A40's are all over better but? you can even take Bluetooth calls with this. The only lower price headset I can recommend is the x41's but those are $150.00.

I've read tons of reviews on this headset, and many people say that the interference from wireless devices can either be fixed, or they have not experienced the problem at all. If your router runs on the same frequency, change the frequency settings, or use a direct connection. Problem solved. My router? is right below my room, and I have never experienced any interference.? I've played right beside my router and still, no interference.

no its not, and it's not more expensive than the console either, ps3's start at 250 (which right now px5 is 200) and 360 starts at 200, though you'd be stupid to not spend the extra money to get the 250gb version. this is by far my favorite purchase for my gaming experience, the sound quality is incredible and I constantly feel like my tv is way too loud and keep turning down and already muted tv. it's not for everyone as? not everyone can afford these, but if you can I'd do it

Dude I have this headset and have two questions. Okay so I have a PS3, would get a 360 but with all the rumors I am not risking it. Anyway, the ps3 only supports 5.1 surround sound not 7.1 so I haven't even tapped its full sound whore potential(lol) but heres the question. What is up with this astro a40 astro a40 its freaking everywhere! Another question, do you think they are better, in some terms? but worse in others. Is there a comparison video? I hear you have a bunch of experience.

Im using the PX5 headset with PC and for some reason it keeps turning off even when Im listening to music or speaking into it. I am using a PC CHat Adapter cable and sound and everything works fine but it frequently? turns off for no reason and the batteries are fully charged. The way to stop it from turning off is to use the USB to headset cable as well (I only usually use this when I want to try out the sound editor), bUT THIS Provides less comfart, Do you know anyway I could fix this

PX5's sound? like shit when you have it to mainly here footsteps and then other things sound awful such as explosions, reloads, etc. Theres no bass, its all treble. Thats not biased because i've used Turtlebeach X1's, X41's, PX5's, Astro A40s and Siberia v2's. Don't start making assumptions. Thanks man, sorry if you took that the wrong way.

Ever been walking and all you hear is a car that seems to be vibrating super loud with a beat? That is bass, crappy bass, but bass. Highs are those noises that make your ears feel funny like if you listen to Party Rock Anthem there are some? serious highs in there when the woman is having her solo. Low is just really deep noises like I don't know just a deep and low tone. Get the PX5s, they are much simpler and convenient.

Don't buy these headsets cause they don't fit every headsize. I got them on my head right now and if I shake my head the whole headset moves. Furthermore, they do not have built in re-chargable batteries so you will have to buy your own ones. As far as the sound goes it's good. If you're going to plug it into a laptop for example without TOSLINK output you will have to buy Audio Advantage Micro 2 to convert usb to TOSLINK, it costs 24.95 dollars. You'd be better? off buying from another company.

A Rant on a great wireless with 1 fault that is enough for a return. This headset does a lot of thing very well but what good are they when they cut in and out every 5-10 seconds? Returning ASAP. I had the x41's they broke just before the warranty ran out, got triton pros, never had issues exept I couldn't hear my self talk properly, just got the brand new triton pros and it solved everything, it's got voice monitoring, new speaker upgrades, and mix amp, and the headphones swivel like the Astros, personally I won't buy another cordless headset due to the interference issues, the new trittons seem to? do it all now, minus Bluetooth, but that's really just gimmicky stuff anyways.

my only suggestion for the PX5's is to buy rechargeable batteries and a second set for when the batteries go dead. also, the presets for the headset listed on the card that comes with the box so all? you need to do is know what number your looking for and hit the button till you here that number. the software was very easy to download off of the site and easy to do as well. plug and play pretty much

Better, but not as cheap. 7.1 is better than just stereo, and yes, I do know a thing or two about audio. I'm not a? fanboy, and don't use that word because it doesn't make sense. stop being a sennheiser fanboy and pretending you? know jackshit about headphones or sound, and no, 7.1 headphones do not produce better surround sound, it's all in the software and techniques to make things sound like surround sound, there are better brands than sennheiser, like AKG, beyerdynamic, audio technica, etc.

Haven't bought a gaming headset yet and am stuck between the px5's and the astro a40s. From pretty? much all the reviews Ive seen Ive heard overall that the astros are better for overall sound. Do you think the presets and bluetooth work well enough to choose the px5's over the astros? What do you think about both of these?
