It is an independent program that WowWee does not own that operates a robot remotely from a computer instead of using the robot's stock remote control. Your usage of the words hacking and illegal does not apply here since the software run on an external computer and? not the robot itself, which also means that the robot's warranty is not voided.

@boywithcamera7 Yeah i knew that about the auto-pilot, saw someones video where it did the slow spin-thing, and he still managed to crash it. Yeah turn off? and on again both the control-pad and the bladestar. I dont know why but it seems to fly best near a halogen lamp.... (shrugs)

thanks, ill try that. and i found out online that there is no true "autopilot mode", it just automatically steers away from obstacles. my manual says that to start "autopilot" mode, to hold down the center (fire) button for 2 seconds - i dont know if thats? seperate from regular fly mode. and what do you mean turning on and off? like, picking it up, turning it on/off and the controller on/off? and does the room lighting matter for you?

Yup.. It's a bit noisy and you're right, I don't want something more challenging for having fun in the house. If I were a hobbyist, I might go out and buy a high end expensive? helicopter that would make this thing look just stupid, but that's not the point. It's meant to be a fun toy for kids.

Bladestar from WowWee- A unique flying object. I think the closest thing to this would be a helicopter. Flying: Its slow, but VERY stable. Look: Looks like from the next century, its very unique. My Grade B- This thing is pretty cool with its auopilot and everything but its just gets boring considering that you can't fly fast or actually do something cool with it.

- I'm not sure if Robdance runs on Crossover, I've only heard reports from *others* that it does. I've never tested it myself so you need to be careful. I also don't now if a USB UIRT will work with a Mac? even with Crossover. If you're worried about wasting money, then you should not do this.

The robot has been released and i am asking you to make support for it. I own the U-Command Wall-e and it is also infared controlled. The only way it makes sense is if it were to hear a loud noise while you are away and then send an alert to your email or phone, then you would have a reason to look. Or it could come with 2 cheap battery powered censors that you can? place around in your home, and when they are tripped, again the robot will send a message to your phone or email. Does that not seem much better?
