Siri was the only feature? for getting much attention on the iphone 4s, and now SIRI has also become an additional issue for the iphone, it was first not disclosed by purchasing that siri will be in a beta version and now siri is also not understanding Indian accent. Forget the SIRI not understanding my Indian accent, but siri is also not aware of any near by most popular places and cafes in Delhi NCR. How shameless should apple be ?

If you don't have an iPhone 4S, but still want to pose spoken questions to your device and let her? speak out the answer, give 'Voice Ask'? a try. The knowledge base behind it is huge (better than Siri) and the voice recognition works better with all accents. Work is going on to add integrated functionality that Siri offers, but for now, it's a great app that knows details on the strangest of subjects. Get it at voiceask.com.

IMHO, Indians doesn't have a single accent, as in India, no of major languages is more than 18. All of those distinct phonetic stress comes from their root in native? languages. I presume the guy is speaking in indo-dravidian (english) accent.
