Hi I have the regular monster turbine but I find them to be too smooth. They have a? really laid back bassy sound but do these Panasonic HJE900 have a more agressive sound ie forward mids, harsh highs and extended bass?? [my prefered sonic signature]

i would give 8 out of 10. I would go with Monster Turbine. I like that one better. You don't hear any hissing sound and it has more base but somehow it's balanced at the? same time. Plus 3 years unlimited warranty!

Please read more reviews for this earphone. This is built from the material called Zirconia. It has similar strength of Diamond, which has a toughness that provides less hissing sounds. And i could tell the differences in hissing between metal construction earphones and Zirconia like this panasonic ones. But yes in general, distortion comes from poor quality music? files.

your earbuds stopped working? earbuds are those little things that allows you put your earphones into your ear cannals. Do you mean one of your phones broke? like the sound stopped coming out of the earphone? Since this earphone has? disconnectable cords, it's either the cord has worned off or your unit has a problem. Hope it helped.

unfortunately i was disappointed with base out of this. And yes i know how to seal my ears with these earphones, but you will not be? disappointed with the quality out of this thing. You get no scratch since only DIamond can carve this earphone, you don't ever hear hissing sound 99% of the time and sound quality is nice with 3d effect to it~

There are others great Iem, like HIfiman REO or Etymotic er6i, er4, fischer dba-02, earsonic sm3, etc, that have a better detail, transparency but for me, Hje are more musical and wins in general terms (well against sm3, dba-02 i dont know) Search in google the Foam Mod, calms the sibilance and? try the Ultimate Ears tips or Vmoda or the Sony Hybrids. The stock tips dont do justice to me.

Yeah, on Ie8 you can adjust the bass (the soundstage and bass on these are wonderfull) but i prefer the pannies cause they are more accurate on mids and treble, and have less bass, but just the right quantity and the sound signature of these are unique. Well, is subjetive, but Hje cost 1/3 of Ie8. Respect to hissing, with my Cowon j3 only in the ultimate level of volume have a little hiss. With my notebook,? they have a little more hiss. And yes, these are an excellent choice.

i always wanted to own ie8 but couldn't afford one. But they say this eraphone has comparable sound quality with shure? se530 and sennh ie8! If you say that this earphone goes head to head with them, then i invested my money well! But one question, hows the base from ie8? i know that you can set the bass level with turning the knob. Plus this panasonic earphone canceles out most of the hissing noise so it's an excellent choice i think.

These are better (a little but better) than sennh ie8, shure? se530, westone 3, Ultimate TripleFi and a large list of iem that cost 2 to 5 times Pannies. Just burn-in or listening 150hs, implement foam mod, and love them. And dont forget, these are the best build quality iem on history with Audo Technica Ck100, and have a cable replacement. This is a great plus.

I have NE-6 same as NE-7m and Hje900, and Sennh 448 and Fischer Dba-02, and i listened to RE0. I think DBa-02 and Hje are much better than the others, but all are great headphones. Hje900 have an excellent signature, and are very very musical with excellent bass, very good treble and excellent mids, maybe a little reccesed.....great details, soundstage, not too? wide but very deeper....3d and instruments separation are great, and if you implement the foam mod, well there are even better.

after using it for more than months, i can't tell any differences when i did burn in for more than a week. But if my memory serves me right, i do notice that the sound? now is more charming, warmer than what i heard at first time without burn in. But can definately hear musics like 3d like surround system, as if i was in a theater when i compare with the other earphone i showed in the video.
