I've added this to favorites. 23 Envelope/4AD was one of the best synergies I've seen since Pink Floyd/Hipgnosis. 23 Envelope provided beautifully textured images for 4AD's stable of artists at the time. As stated, from the 80's? to early 90's, 4AD was a unique recording studio which contributed a body of truly timeless work to music history. Thanks for composing and posting this.

I will say? that that was indeed a special time in history, not since has a record label teamed with artists that complemented each other so well! 23 envelope captured the music of 4ad (in those days) so well. I dare say that the music and art could have and would have succeeded without one another but not flourished as they did together! They truly made one another and have influnced so many! Thanks for sharing and taking me back to some special times in my life!!!
