Im glad you have asked please do not buy the nokia n97 mini ! i was ment to get the phone a long time a go but did not recive, i rang the Nokia and they said it had been discontined... i went to carphonewarhouse and asked about the mini and they told "well this quite a story, Nokia had deciced to stop making the mini imaditiley ! because it was not working to standerd and they had alot of problems then nokia sacked the people who made the mini" thats that realy? hope this helped :)

I love google maps, etc. but i can't use it, because battery is shit out in 8hours. I cant rely on this phone. Nokia isn't stupid. They also might packed dual core processor or 1gb ram. But what for? @majuro57 C6 isn't a S^3 device so this? particular device (despite the name and the size), but make's a lot better photos cause it have a more effective CMOS and it does have Auto Focus, BUT all Nokia phones makes decent pictures so the difference is not very big. C6 also uncomparable by having a reflective screen, you can use a stylus but who cares? I'd recommend you to go wtih either C6-01 or C7 depends where they are avalaible. I'd choose C6-01 cause Bell mobility have this model in stock so.

Hey, yo, guys, just got this almost perfect phone for me. Almost, coz the lock slider is just way too stiff. I use my left hand for phones and even if I try to use the lock slider? with my right hand, it's too stiff. Are all C6-01 like this or should I have it replaced by tomorrow?

Great idea. But, I don't like the fact that you can't rotate? the plugs and the devices are supported only by the small plug. For an iPhone it is not a big deal since the 30 pin is fairly large compared to the iPhone. But for mini and micro USB that could present a problem over time. No?

So I've got a touch screen, which, if designed correctly, makes the keyboard completely obsolete, and a keyboard ... I got this phone a few months ago and its been awesome. Touch screen is very sensitive considering its not capacative. With the keypad its easy to fire off texts and emails. Battery life? is much better than alot of the current phones out. Looks very smart, I have the black model and its very well made too. Nice and slim. I love it!

all phones are now supposed to feature unnecessary amateur? applications for everything EXCEPT for working well as a phone. So you need to charge the battery every day, which in turn means the battery's gonna finish on ya in max 2 years. But the good news is by then you'll buy yourself another model with more appropriate battery- VIVA consumption and capitalism!

They told me I needed a data plan with the Nuron, and? indeed it (still) says so on their website. I asked her to double check and...lo and behold it's a "phone first smart phone" (wtf?) and so,She told me, "This phone doesn't need a data plan but all the others do." Me: "How do you know and how can we tell" She:" because this is the kind that doesn't require a data plan.

@merkle928 Yes @thenerds21 The camera isn't bad nor is it 'pixelated.' Yes you can download a lot of applications and games. Both touchscreen and accelerometer is responsive and sensor responsive, respectively. You'll have to download every single game in the ovi? store to check wheter or not all touchscreen games work on the phone. Yes the phone freezes at time. The speed of the phone depends on what you're running. And there is no wifi...sheesh.

@PharaohNnamdi Ah it doesn't matter. I got the phone? and had trouble with it. It wasn't user friendly for my family and I, plus I got no service in my household....which could be a problem. I sent the phones back, went crawling back to cricket..and got myself a fantastic Blackberry Curve.

I got one a couple of months back. Here's a few extra tips. Batteries don't last long but they are dirt cheap and I have three of them. Colour balance, exposure and focus can be set manually. There is a HS setting for low light levels and presets for different conditions (fireworks, beach scenes etc.) so you can get good results in low light if you up the ISO speed to 400, 800 or 1600. The mini joystick can be used to adjust focus and/or exposure? during shooting in video mode.
