At about 1:38 into it my brother launched up the hill and landed it at WOT, you can hear the crack as it knocked a tooth off the rear diff pinion. It still ran fine all day like it though and I replaced it later. Other than that, the only other? thing is that it was completely full of sand and needed a full teardown.

very often it's the fuel line,? but check out youtuber "squirrelod" on his video on how to check for leaks. can't idle without wheels turning - either your clutch shoes, clutch springs or both - are worn out. get some after market ones with 1.1 or 1.2mm springs. the stock ones are only 0.9mm or 1.0mm. too soft. harder springs means more rev to engage the truck - that will help your pickup and acceleration also.

Yes I know mine was badly cracked so I replaced it now I cant seem to get it to idle without the wheels turning and? and seems like its suging and the rpms will start to climb then it stalls im thinking maybe I have an airleak. 2 of my buddies got the exact same truck and they had not trouble just getting theres to idle without the wheels turning and sound alot better. hopfully I didnt get a bad motor.

you need to take out the? OWB and use Brake Cleaner spray to flush out the grease. OWBs actually don't spoil so easily. basically they just get fully greased. Trinity monster fuel works well, but the other brands may run better but grease up afterward. it's a stupid design flaw in the HPI backplate which leaves too much play and allows engine grease in. can't help it. gotta do that every 1-2 sessions

Sound's great, run's great, I have the Savage SS K4.6 and a Savage XL5.9, I use the same method with my Xl, 5% nitro 20%oil and have never had a problem, actually I've never lost 1 race running my XL that way, most people are just to simple-minded and stupid to? try thing's, Zack is right, because I do the same thing and have ran probably about 3 gallons worth through my XL that way and still run's strong and does everything I want it to! Great Vid!

Actually yeah i have the F4.6 , K4.6 (fully modded) and the K4.6 HO (fully modded) !! so yea, even with out the mods? the "K" series engines are better !!

i think you mean "right" there buddy. So, if you're going to say something, YOU say it RIGHT. By the way, have you personally driven? both the K4.6 and F4.6? If not then quit talking out of your ass. They're both very similar, very decent entry level engines.

srry that comment was when i was just getting into nitro and the hobby i bought a Savage X 4.6 rtr and am pleased with it i have it tuned up nicely ....but im really regretting buying the rtr now i am dying to get a kit version of any car because i? love to build things and now i want a truggy to race but it also has to be a kit.

WOW fcvware SS is Super Sport and rtr is READY TO RUN! if your going to? say some thing say it wright! The savage x ss k4.6 is better becasue its a K4.6! The F4.6 is shit because its an F4.6, so you wan the K4.6 SS its faster has mote torque and more power!
