"ability to run code on? your device is", well that is one of the most interesting thing to to while developing. You can't deny beeing open source helps with general development, as a developer I know that understanding how the system works as well as how the API works and how it is runned by the system is very helpfull if you want to go deep and program better apps.

Customization is better on android i can give you that, by jailbreaking you can do whatever you like too as same as rooting (it's practicly the same thing just named diffrently).Open source does not make? app making easier, since on both systems you are forced to use specific API, wat makes android easier fact that you need to pay to make your own app run on your own iOS device where on Android you need to pay if you want to publish apps.anyway i don't see much diffrence in norm use

In customization i can say the diference is huge, when rooted you can almost rewrite the entire device. Also open code makes it very easy for me to create my own apps. I'm not a fanatic, I just think apple is too blocked? and over priced for me.

Can it do a screengrab/screen-capture by holding down the Home Button for two seconds? The IdeaPad K1 has this feature, and it's amazingly useful. I hope Lenovo didn't just include that feature for? the lesser K1, b/c of they did, that would be just plain dumb!

I want to war people that i have bought 2 of these in only 4 days, not because they were good but because they both broke. I didnt physically damage them at all but after a major update it worked fine, till i turned it off. Immediately? the charging indicator light turned off and it just plain died. the hard reset button didnt even work. the first one lasted 3 days and the 2nd one lasted 4 hours, i really am disappointed because i liked this tablet. i just want to warn people.

Had it for almost a month now and I'm completely satisfied. Also the reset button isn't that hard to access if your finger nails aren't chewed off or fat. for the price its a steal and ICS works great. Only gripe is the? speakers aren't all that.

The transformer is made by Asus... this is Acer ... and to answer your question I have an Acer Iconia A500 which is the previous generation of this tablet and battery power is phenomenal? - it uses almost no power on standby and lasts about 10 hours with continuous usage ( hardcore gaming probably about 6 hours )

I was holding out for the Archos tablet, but for 8 months it is vaporware so I saw the Toshiba Thrive 32gig on woot for about $ 300. I ordered one and boy am I? pleased. I put a 64gig SD card in mine so I could put a lot of STUFF. Apple's iPad 3 or whatever they are calling it is just warmed over apple pie; no SD slot, no USB's, no HDMI. No noting but hype and a big price tag ! Android will play flash videos and that's more than the apple/orange can do except take an extra $ 100-200 of UR money.
