Really? I'd argue she's "hawt"? because she's incredibly intelligent. That she also has attractive physical traits is an after thought, and bonus. I am a BA undergraduate studying sociology and can relate to what you say. You can study and incorporate sophisticated philosophical or mathematical developments via economics in how our world is? shaped, to the "mundane" study of interactions of everyday life between specific individuals and then even combine these together. It is interdisciplinary in its very nature and can cover virtually anything. This is the first time I have hear of Castells and his theory, but I like it.

I love he speaks about micro$oft word and how it 'guesses' what you want to do, in the context of a programmer having a cultural effect on the user. That's why I'm a fan of open source, well written programs. Because if a machine does something that you don't want it to do, you should be able to make the machine conform to you, you shouldn't have to conform to the machine. I just think it will be far advantageous to someone if they do speak Chinese or have literacy in Chinese. There are White people who speak Chinese. I do not understand why not learn.
