I'm not mrizos, but I think that? might be Adware, or something that wrote entries into the HOST file on your computer. Try running CCleaner, Malwarebytes, and Superantispyware; that most-likely will solve the problem.

No. Just find another computer to work with-(at a friend's/family's house or at a library), download the programs from there, burn them to a disk, and copy them off the? disk to the computer. *Hope this helps.

It works very well, but it requires a lot of resources to function. *If you want something free, try Comodo Internet Security.?

Rogue Software and Rootkits generally prevent programs from opening. Here are some ways to get around this: 1. Run RKILL-There are many different types of RKILL-(the one named eXplorer.exe works almost always) 2. Use a Bootable Antivirus Disk ? *Kaspersky Rescue Disk-Slow, but all around good detection *Avira Rescue Disk-Fast, and Good at detecting Trojans *DR. Web Live CD-Best at detecting Adware/Spyware I personally recommend Avira Rescue Disk for you to use.
