By the way, lg doesn't such at updates anymore. ICS Update date for 2x, lte, vu, etc has already been confirmed. Moreover, sorry for galaxy s users, but optimus black is getting the update as well. From ICS, android is supporting GPU? acceleration. And don't say something bad about me because I'm one of the galaxy s users.

You guys have no idea how much effort LG made for their phones recently. Lg's optimus vu and optimus lte all got favorable response. The survey found that? these phones were the second most satisfying phone (first=iphone), which means they are definitely getting better. It is true that they were indifferent for a few years, but now they're back to reality, and are doing it properly. In addition, their optimization is way better now. So don't insult. They are even replacing the ui with a new one.

The phone looks rubbish, it's the worst on the market by far. Technically it's awesome, but it's an enlarged Galaxy S1. I waited till the S3 to upgrade, which I'm probably not going to do now. The one thing I hated about the S1 was its rounded sides and each time you used one handed to try and press a side button the thing goes flying. The? S3 just looks rubbish and the colour! Pebble blue? WTF? And white? Rounded edge phone with rectangular screen, how? else could you make the corners stand out?

totally agreed , iPhone does everything pretty fast especially very nice GPU. But after my dad used galaxy s2? for an year almost , i want to upgrade my old 5800 xpress music to s3 .I also have an iPod 4g , but only thing iOS is good , is at games (really nice games and amazing graphics for an iPod of 2 years old) , apart from that i found Android really nice for almost every day tasks compared to other OS.

@ImCrimzon For your info there is no lag @ all, the ICS will be available in June, battrey life is decent, screen size makes it special from the ordinary phones in gaming and? browsing w/ a powerful resolution and colors & for the stylus pen really awesome for drawing and writing w/ no probs. Make a Benchmark test instead of play games, why? 1) Always the Master edition of a game is made it for the bestseller Console, in this moment the iPad 2) When the Master it's done start the porting process, the porting for Android don't have the same Quality of the Master, why? Because Android? sell the same version of the game for ALL their firmwares (2.1,2.2,4.0,etc) This means, the same game is played in a HTC Hero or an ASUS Transformer... 3) How i know it? Well the resolution is what you'd be after so, only a few tablet do true HD. The A500 does 720p and the A700 will do 1080p. As long as you've got a good wifi network you should have little trouble playing HD video. As for .mkv files? as far as I know you'll need to convert the files, plenty of converters on google.

The new Ipad is actually still a dual core based model. The only advantage is the higher resolution, not much higher but still.? I'd never buy an iPad when for the same price I can get a much more powerful piece of tech. That said the Prime is too buggy, the acer A510 is coming out soon with tegra 3 and priced at $450. New models are also coming out in autumn.

The original transformer has those problems too I heard. But so does the "new" ipad, it over heats and randomly types on the keyboard opening apps and all sorts of crazy stuff. ; ) Apple even released new desktops? where the computers were usable cause they rushed them out, before even a basic test ? it's just ridiculous anyone would rush anything to market and make people suffer.

@chrischoy9 But they don't do the? same things in the background. Mali GPU is highly optimised to run @ specific resolutions whereas Tegra 2 and 3's Geforce ULP can scale a lot higher. They aren't equivalent GPUs by any means.

Hm; cool OS :D Andoid phones are pretty sweet. But one thing that really puts me off is that you aren't? guaranteed to get the latest OS a few months after the phone comes out :/ Plus it's not that easy to sync with your computer. looks like I'm sticking with my iPhone for now.
